RELEASE & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
By Signing Below, You Are Releasing Important Rights
In return for permission to enter the premises, to participate in activities offered by, and to use the facilities at Tetelestai Range, LLC. located at 44248 W. Frier, Tonopah, AZ 85354 (Premises),
I, for myself, my heirs, and my assigns agree as follows: Child/Children's Names
1. I forever release Tetelestai Range, LLC. from all liability for negligence of any type and waive any claims for personal injury, death, damages, or other losses of any kind, regardless of how or by whom such loss may be caused, which occur to me, my guests, or my property while upon the Premises, participating in the activities offered, or using the facilities of Tetelestai Range, LLC. thereon. This release and waiver shall apply and extend to Tetelestai Range, LLC., its employees, directors, officers, insurers or agents.
2. I assume all risks of personal injury, death, damages, or losses of any type or for any reason that occur while on the Premises, taking part in activities offered by Tetelestai Range, LLC. or using the facilities at Tetelestai Range, LLC. whether or not such risks are known or unknown, or result from the negligent actions or nonactions of Tetelestai Range, LLC., its agents or employees, or the negligence of others who are on the Premises. Those risks include, but are not limited to, risks related to the discharge of firearms, the firing of live ammunition by myself and others, the design of, or conditions of the Premises or the design of or conditions of the facilities located on the Premises.
3. I forever release, indemnify, and hold harmless Tetelestai Range, LLC., and/or any of their employees, directors, officers, insurers or agents from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands or lawsuits arising out of, related to or connected with the discharge of firearms, the firing or ricochet of live ammunition by myself or others, presence at, conditions of, and use of the facilities located on the Premises or the design or condition of the facilities located on the Premises including, without limitation, the costs of court , attorney's fees or other costs or expenses incurred in connection with defending any such claim, demand or lawsuit.
4. If signing as a parent, I am authorized to act on behalf of the minor named in this agreement.
Range Safety Rules
WARNING! Violation of these Rules or Tetelestai Range, LLC. Range Safety Officer's (RSO)Commands may result in revocation of your shooting privileges and/or ejection from the facility with no refund!
•Only Arizona legal weapons are allowed on the range. Shooters shall be responsible for knowledge of and their compliance with all state and federal laws.
• Eye and Ear protection are MANDATORY at all times.
• NO ALCOHOL or DRUGS are allowed on the range at any time.
• Minors shall be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Shooter shall know and understand SAFE operation of all firearms in use.
• Shooter shall keep all firearms pointed in a safe direction.
• Firearms shall be loaded/unloaded with the barrel pointed down range.
• Shooter's finger shall remain off the trigger until ready to shoot.
• Firearms shall remain unloaded until ready to shoot. Firearms may not be loaded until the range has been cleared for Live Fire.
• Shooter shall obey all posted signs and all range commands and orders of Tetelestai Range, LLC. RSO.
• On The RSO's "Cease Fire" or similar command or while others are downrange, Shooters shall step away from the firing line and shall NOT handle firearms until the range is cleared for Live Fire by the RSO.
• Shooters shall ensure that only correct ammunition is used in a firearm. No larger than 7 ½ shot is allowed on the shotgun course. No incendiary, armor piercing or tracer ammunition is allowed anywhere at the range.
• Shooter shall use ONLY authorized and approved targets and stands. No exploding or other such action targets are allowed anywhere at the range.
• Targets will ONLY be placed at the rear berm of the shooting lane.
• Shooter shall remain aware of the target and what is beyond.
• Absolutely NO reckless or "Blue-Sky'' discharge of firearms or any shots which may result in projectiles escaping the shooting area. DO NOT allow your rounds to stray away from the target. Shooting or attempting to shoot structures, equipment, or facilities that are not designated targets, or within designated firing lanes is PROHIBITED!
Best Practices
1. Treat every firearm as always loaded.
2. Don't let the muzzle of your firearm cover anything which you don't intend to shoot.
3. Keep your finger OFF the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Always be sure of your target and everything beyond it.
5. THINK first. .. Shoot SECOND!
